1. 조사나 문장 부호 뒤의 공백을 합쳐 하나의 토큰으로 간주하거나 
2. 단어를 하나의 토큰으로 간주하면 
일반적인 문장에 대한 전체적인 토큰 사용 수는 줄어듭니다. 

다만 이 과정에서 각 토큰 별로 부족한 학습 데이터로 성능 저하 혹은 외래어, 유행어 등의 신규 언어 등장에 있어 대응 능력이 현저히 떨어질 수 있습니다. 

제일 문제가 되는 것은 한글은 표음 문자이지만 한국어는 표의 문자에 해당하는 한자에 기반해 사용되는 용어도 많다는 것인데, 결국은 한국어 모델이라도 토큰 효율성보다 "성능" 이라는 지표에 집중해 코퍼스 내 데이터 간 관계성을 정의하는데 용이한 토크나이저 설계가 중요하다는 의미에서 말씀을 드린 내용이었습니다.
